***** School and Administration Office 校務、教務與註冊 *****
  1. We are always in need of teachers and TAs, so if you have a passion for teaching, please contact us.  Don’t worry if you don’t have experience, training is available. 當學校老師是支持子女學中文最好的方式, 家長也是最好的老師來源，假如您有興趣教中文，請和辦公室聯絡。
  2. Please remember to check and help your kids’ homework and make sure s/he completes all homework before class.  Working on homework during the class is not allowed. This Sunday we will celebrate the 9/28 Saturday Confucious Birthday (teachers’ day), please remind your kids to say thank you to all hard-working teachers and school staff. 家長們請記得要提醒與適當幫助小朋友們完成回家作業功課, 上課時可不能補寫功課唷! 本週我們會簡單慶祝前一天9/28教師節,請家長教小朋友尊師重道,叮嚀他們向辛苦的老師和校長等校務人員們說聲"謝謝"!!
  3. There are a few families that have not completed the registration or paid the full tuition, please go see the registrar to complete the process.  有幾位家長尚未完成全部的報名手續及繳交學費, 請您盡快跟註冊組聯絡。

**** PTA & Activities 家長會與活動 *****
  1. Parents Party and Children’s Book Fair on the grass area at 1:30pm  SDCA Boad/PTA will hold a parent party this Sunday. This is a great social opportunity to get to know other parents. We’ll also have a Children’s Book Fair on the grass area (in front of 1A/1B/2B classrooms).  Please feel free to bring some children’s books to show, share, or trade with other parents. You are welcome to bring snacks to share, too. 家長派對與童書分享!  親愛的家長們, 輕鬆一下, 認識新朋友, 下午一點半大草坪見(在1甲/1乙/2乙教室前)! 歡迎您帶家裡的中文童書與大家分享或交換, 帶些點心來分享更好唷!!
  2. PTA Meeting and Room Parents Meeting at Community Hall at 2:30pm SDCA Boad/PTA will hold an all-parents meeting with room parents meeting after the parents party and children’s book fair. SDCA is a non-profit organization so it can’t survive without your continuous support and participation. We’ll introduce all events sponsored by the Board and PTA. You can get a free museum ticket if you join the meeting and sign up for any PTA programs.理事會與家長會本週將舉行家長大會和班代表大會，將向大家介紹今年的各項活動和創舉，學校是一個非營利組織，中文學校的成功以及貴子女的學習完全仰賴您的積極參與與支持，請大家踴躍出席，凡參加會議及任一家長會活動的家長將被贈與博物館入場券乙張。
  3. PTA Parents Ninja Workout Club (NWC) is coming soon. We will be offering several exercise groups (eg. baseball/softball, yoga, hiking, cycling, badminton, surfing, etc.) that parents and staff can choose to participate in for free. We will calculate personal and team goals and achievement after ten weeks, and the team that does the best will earn a prize for your kids! Please contact Jerry if you are interested to join or be as team captains. 家長會將於十月推出一個為期十週免費的"健人就是腳勤俱樂部"。我們會推出數個運動的團體 (例如棒球、瑜珈、登山健行、自行車、羽球、衝浪…等等)，每位家長可以參與一到數個團體並設定自己的目標，活動結束時我們會對最精實的團體予以表揚獎勵! 請有興趣參加的家長與Jerry聯絡。
  1. Parents Share and Learn Club (SLC).We will be offering FREE formal Seminars and small scale share and learn events for all the SDCA staff and parents starting from October. Please contact Meiling or Jessica if you are interested to join or be as speakers. The tentative topic for the first share and learn event will be “Parenting and Educating Experiences” which may include introducing Chinese learning softwares, apps, and other resources; how to enhance kids’ motivation in learning Chinese. Meeting time and location will be decided and announced soon. Stay Tuned! 大朋友俱樂部, 家長會將於十月開始不定期舉辦講座及家長經驗分享活動，活動完全免費，第一次活動主題暫訂＂親子教育經驗交流分享＂  ( 好用中文學習軟體、中文學習資源，如何引導孩子學習中文及提高興趣，時間地點將再通知。請有興趣參加的家長與Meiling或Jessica聯絡。
  2. Snack Store during 2nd recess.  Your choice of snack plus a juice box is only $1.  Please encourage your students to stop by and get some treats.  點心時間! 第二節下課時，我們將有小點心販賣的活動，自選一樣點心加果汁只要一美元，歡迎您與您的孩子前來購買。
  3. Special Parent Program Participation Needed!!

***** Secretary/Ground Supervision 秘書組/校園巡邏 *****
  1. Please remind your children only play by the grassy area during the recess time.  Do Not go to places where there is no adult supervision. No climbing trees or running in the bushes is allowed. Those plants have thorns and your children may get hurt.  Although there are four parents doing ground supervision every week, we still need all your kids’ cooperation to ensure our campus safety.  Thank you. 請各位家長告知家中子女，下課時間請小朋友盡量留在草地上玩耍，請勿跑到建築後面或是人少的地方，以維護自身安全。也請不要在學前班前面的矮樹叢裡奔跑，那邊許多植物多有刺，以免刺傷。雖然校園內有義工家長巡邏，但還需要大家配合，才能確保校園安全，謝謝。

  1. 聖地牙哥僑界於十月六日有雙十國慶慶典,詳情請看[海報]: 晚宴門票可在辦公室購買,一張$25. San Diego Chinese Community will be celebrating the 102nd Anniversary of Taiwan's National Day with morning flag raising ceremony as well as dinner banquet on Sunday 10/6/2013.  Banquet tickets can be purchased at the office and are $25 each.  Please see the flyer here for more details.
  2. 中華文化聯誼會卡拉OK舞會: 星期六, 10/12/13, 6:30-10:00pm, Poway Community Auditorium, 13094 Civic Center Drive, Poway, CA 92064, Ticket price $20 pre-order at the office (預售票價) or $25 at the door (現場票價).

  4. This year the Community Corner here also serves as a bulletin board which is open to all parents and staff in SDCA if you have anything you want to share with others in our community.
