Administration Office 教務組:

1. We have 51 students signed up for the Speech Contest! We commend these students on participating in this important event and taking the initiative to practice their public speaking skills. Parents please encourage your child to take time to practice every day. 我們有51名學生報名參加了演講比賽！我們讚賞這些學生能主動參加這個比賽，來加強練習他們的演講技巧。家長們, 請鼓勵你的孩子每天花一點時間來練習。

2. This week, we will have the drawing for Speech Contest sequence. Students may come to the office during recesses to draw a number for himself/herself. If a student is absent, the teacher will draw for the student. 本週將要為演講比賽順序抽籤。學生可以在休息時間到辦公室來抽籤。如果學生缺席，老師將會代替學生抽籤。

Ground Supervision 訓導組:

Please review Student Handbook Rules that was given out on the first day of school or check SDCA website http://sandiegochineseschool.com/new/parent_info.htm. As 12/02, Parent and teacher will be notified if the student is not able to follow the rules and warning. 請再次詳讀學校網站上的學生守則。12/02 當天如果發現學生不遵守校規和不聽從警告，我們將通知家長和教師來處理。

Here are some important reminders and new rules 以下是一些重要的提醒和新規則:

• Never eat or drink in the classroom. Do not stay in the classroom during recess. 不准在教室裡吃點心及喝飲料，下課時間不可以留在教室裡。
• ALL 2nd floor students need to go downstairs for snack and play at the grassy area. 所有二樓學生在下課時間不准停留在走道上，要玩或是吃點心就要到樓下的草地上去。
• Never play around or go on the janitor's utility cart. 不要靠近校工的工作車或在車子附近玩。
• Students cannot use or play with the elevator. 學生不能使用或玩電梯。
• Only can hit ball against wall if there's NO door/window/lockers around. 只能在沒有門/窗/儲物櫃的牆上丟/玩球。
• No one goes behind or around the buildings or any place where there's no adult supervision. 不可以去教室後面或周圍或沒有家長巡邏的地方逗留。
• No one goes close to parking area for any reasons.不可在停車場或附近玩耍。

PTA 家長會

1. Thank you for joining us at the Holiday Eat & Shop Event. We hope you all enjoy the traditional Rice Ball Soup and have fun at the raffle. HUGE Thank You to all the parents who made doughs, helped out at the event, and donated raffle items. This year we were able to raise $666.68 for our school. Thank you very much! 感謝您參加我們上個星期天的假日美食活動。希望您們不但都享受到了傳統美味湯圓，並且還在抽獎拍賣活動中玩得開心。十分感謝所有搓湯圓，幫忙活動以及捐出抽獎拍賣物品的家長們。這次活動為學校募捐到了$ 666.68 美元。再次感謝大家！

3. This Sunday’s Room Parents Meeting //PTA Meeting is cancelled. The next scheduled PTA Meeting//Room Parents Meeting will be on 01/06/2013. 本週日的家長大會// 班代表大會取消。下一次預定的家長大會//班代表大會將在2013年1月6日舉行。

4. We will have Student Store on 12/16. This is the time our kids exchange their hard-earned coupons for gifts they like. Please give us ideas about what items we can have for our students. Please send your suggestion to PTA at sdcapta@gmail.com. 12月16日將舉辦學生商店活動，此項活動是我們的學生將他們努力讀書獲得的獎券換取他們喜歡的禮物的時候。什麽樣的禮物會受到歡迎，請大家提供意見，並將建議發送給PTA 做參考。謝謝！

5. Service Fee refund ($60) will be ready at the 12/09 Scrip Sales Day. Please make sure to turn in your refund request form if you had already fulfilled your duty this year. 本年度家長服務退費(60元) 將於下一次禮券銷售日 (12 月9日) 開始退費。如果您已經完成您今年的工作， 請記得填交退費申請表。
