Administration Office 教務組:
1. We will have Speech Contest this Sunday (12/9). Check in times and drawing numbers were distributed last week to each contestant. Please review the flier and familiarize yourself with the contest rules. 演講比賽將於本星期日舉行。每名參賽者的入場時間和比賽編號上週已經公佈，請仔細閱讀傳單和熟悉比賽規則。
2. As the contestants stretch into final preparation for their speech, we would like to remind parents to be encouraging and set reasonable expectations with your child. When your child completes the speech, please give him/her a pat on the back. It takes a lot of courage to just get up there. No matter what the results are, we are extremely proud of all our contestants! 比賽快要舉行，我們想提醒家長們要鼓勵你的孩子練習準備，並且設一個合理的期望。當您的孩子比賽完畢，請拍拍他們的肩膀鼓勵他們。上台演講需要很大的勇氣，不管結果如何，我們都為這些孩子的成就感到驕傲！
Ground Supervision 訓導組:
Please review Student Handbook Rules that was given out on the first day of school or check SDCA website http://sandiegochineseschool.com/new/parent_info.htm. We still have lots of students not able to comply with the rules, especially the ones listed below. Please remind your child to respect the campus rules. 請再次詳讀學校網站上的學生守則。仍然有許多學生無法遵守規則，請家長督促警誡孩子。
- Never eat or drink in the classroom. Do not stay in the classroom during recess. 不准在教室裡吃點心及喝飲料，下課時間不可以留在教室裡。
- NO students can stay on the 2nd floor during recesses. All need to be downstairs for snack and play. 所有學生在下課時間要到樓下玩和吃點心。不能再二樓逗留。
- Never play around the janitor's utility cart. 不要靠近校工的工作車或在車子附近玩。
- Students cannot use or play with the elevator. 學生不能使用或玩電梯。
- Only can hit ball against wall if there's NO door/window/lockers around. 只能在沒有門/窗/儲物櫃的牆上丟/玩球。
- No one goes behind or around the buildings or any place where there's no adult supervision. 不可以去教室後面或周圍或沒有家長巡邏的地方逗留。
- No one goes close to parking area for any reasons.不可在停車場或附近玩耍。

2. We will have Student Store on 12/16. This is the time our kids exchange their hard-earned coupons for gifts they like. Please give us ideas about what items we can have for our students. Please send your suggestion to PTA at sdcapta@gmail.com. 12月16日將舉辦學生商店活動，此項活動是我們的學生將他們努力讀書獲得的獎券換取他們喜歡的禮物的時候。什麽樣的禮物會受到歡迎，請大家提供意見，並將建議發送給PTA 做參考。謝謝！
Scrip Sales 禮券組
1. The scrip team will be having their monthly scrip sale in the office from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm this Sunday (12/09/2012). Please come visit us at the table and get your holiday shopping started early. 禮卷組這個星期日下午1:30到4:00 在學校辦公室販售禮卷，趁這個機會，把年終假期時需要送禮的親朋好友們都打點好吧！
2. Service Fee refund ($60) will start at this Sunday. Please remember to pick up your refund if you had fulfilled your duty of this year. 本年度家長服務退費(60元) 將於本週日開始退費。如果您已經完成您今年的工作， 請記得來辦公室領取你的退費。
