1.Current Families -- If you missed pre-registration, you have until 5/31 to register online and mail payment (postmark by 5/31) in order to have $50 registration fee waived. No Exception. Please use the registration link and follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the invitation email sent to you on 4/15 from support@sandiegochineseschool.com. Payment should be made by check - payable to SDCA and mail to SDCA-Registration, PO Box 910093, San Diego, CA 92191-0093 (postmark by 5/31). 2. Continued Learning in Summer -- Study shows that children learn best when instruction is continuous. The summer vacation breaks the rhythm of instruction, leads to forgetting, and requires a significant amount of review of material when students return to school in the fall. Parents can help preventing summer learning loss by encouraging your child to: 1) complete the summer homework package distributed by your teacher, 2) make a plan to review the textbooks on a regular basis throughout the summer, 3) venture in Chinese Learning Resources that are provided at our website: http://sandiegochineseschool.com/new/links.htm. 暑假中文繼續練習 - - 研究發現連續練習對孩子的學習效果最好。放暑假容易打破教學的節奏，導致孩子忘記學習內容，導致秋天開學前需要大量的複習舊教材。家長可以在暑假時幫助孩子學習: 1）規定完成老師給的暑假作業，2）定一個計劃, 整個夏天用固定時間來複習教科書，3）參考學校網站上的學習資源。

3. Administration Transition -- We have initiated the transition to the new administration, and will continuously to meet during the summer to ensure a successful and seamless transaction. We thank you for your support for the past school year. It takes a village to operate a Chinese school.
