The school will hold a fire drill on 10/26. Please review the fire safety information to raise fire awareness for your children.
We would like to ask parents please pick up your child(ren) promptly after school and leave the classroom so that the janitor can begin to clean the classroom. There is only one janitor and he alone must clean more than 30 classrooms by 6 PM. This is a difficult task and we ask for the parents’ support and cooperation in this. If you need to speak to the teacher, we welcome you and your teacher to come use the office. Thank you for your support and assistance in this manner.
下課之後請家長準時來接您的孩子,並盡快離開教室以便地主學校校工打掃。他一個人必須在六點前清掃完三十多間教室。若家長需要跟老師交談或討論,請移步到辦公室,謝謝配合。
Please remind your student again not to touch and/or use anything in the classroom, including the trash can. We are grateful to be able to use this wonderful campus. Please help take care of LJCDS classrooms and its campus so we can continue to use it. Parents, if you visit a classroom with a young child, please watch your child to make sure he/she is not touching anything in the classroom. Thank you.
麻煩家長持續提醒孩子們，教室内的所有物品都不能使用，移動，和破壞。也不能在教室裡吃東西或用教室裡的垃圾桶。我們感謝 LJCDS 借給我們這個美麗的校園，整齊的教室和安全的環境。我們很珍惜能和 LJCDS 維持良好的關係。所以希望學生們都能確實遵守規定。如果有家長帶小小孩進教室，也要特別提醒家長注意自己的小孩，不要亂動教室内的東西。

Student snack store 學生福利社:
Snack Store during 2nd recess will be again on the grass area this week . Your choice of snack plus a juice box is only $1. Please encourage your students to stop by and get some treats, it also helps fundraise for our school. 點心時間到囉! 第二節下課時，我們將有小點心販賣的活動，自選一樣點心加果汁只要一美元，歡迎您與您的孩子前來購買。
Student recess activity 下課文化體驗:
Kids had a great experience with Master Henry on Kids Taichi last week. Based on popular demand, we will have instructor Kang Lei demonstrate Kung Fu Fan this Sunday again during the 2nd recess. Kids had a lot of fun two weeks ago. Please encourage your kids to come and see what kung fu fans is all about, you may register your kids for the culture class if they like to learn more. 上週感謝 Master Henry 帶我們的小朋友練習太極. 這周下課文化體驗將再由功夫扇子的康老師來帶小朋友了解什麼是功夫扇子. 兩週前很多小朋友都玩的很開心, 請家長多鼓勵小朋友下課來大草地一起和康老師動一動. 有興趣學的小朋友請跟康老師報名我們新的文化課喔~
Culture classes 文化課程:
Thank you to those who have already registered for our culture class, we are trying to finalize on the head count and hopefully will begin as soon as next weekend. Please turn in the form and turn in to the Parent Lounge Volunteer at the office. 希望來參加家長會的都有看到我們這次文化課程老師的表演, 希望家長多多鼓勵小朋友來參加我們的文化課程, 讓小朋友有更多機會接觸到中國文化. 今年的文化課程，包括太極拳，優美的功夫扇子, 浪漫的琵琶等等，師資陣容堅強
Homework Helper 課業輔導:
We are providing homework helper session after school from 4:40 - 5: 25 (45 minutes) for kids who needs additional help on their homework. 5 sessions and 10 session punch card will be sold at the office . Homework Helpers are intended to help kids on their assigned SDCA homework for that week, not a private tutor to do other learning plans. 今年學校提供了一項課業輔導的項目讓有需要幫忙的家長, 如果自己沒有時間或是沒有辦法教小朋友功課, 需要老師的輔助, 我們再下課後 4:40 到 5:25 提供團體輔助. 採用 punch card 制度, 有興趣的家長可以到辦公室來詢問報名.

Ninja Workout Club (NWC)
We will continue our weekly workout programs - aerobics, baseball, cycling, and tennis. More parents showed up last week for aerobics. So don’t waste this opportunity and come join any of the clubs now. Please contact Jerry if you are interested.
