2. House of China (SD) starts accepting application for Year 2013 Virginia Hom Fung Memorial Youth Chinese Language Scholarship. Local Chinese Language school students who are 18 years old or younger are welcomed to apply. 1. Annual Board Election - 4 positions are open for Year 2013-2014: We need your participation! Please join us to help making school decisions and support school activities. 2. Our Activity Director - Lei Kang, her husband (Alex Yu), suddenly passed away last week. We are all saddened by the news. She has 3 young children (12, 10 and an 18-month old). If you have known the family and would like to help, the memorial service is this Saturday (3/16) at 10am at El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley. We also setup a donation account to help the family (see follow information).
