Every year around second term, San Diego Chinese Academy would solicit parent’s
opinion and recommendation for the school through Parent Survey. This year we
will conduct this survey earlier in the school year, so we can give positive
feedback to our hard working teachers. It is important for us to acknowledge
and appreciate the efforts our teachers have been contributing to the school
and for the children. We look forward to hear from you of any compliment or
constructive criticism. We will take your opinion seriously and make any necessary
adjustment to the school because we strive for improvements and success of your

紀念馮譚珍貴女士2019年中國館中文獎學金: 聖地牙哥中國館每年春季提供獎學
金給就讀本市中文學校的學生，以鼓勵十八歲以下青少年學習中文。獎學金分為
初級組、中級組，和高級組三組。組別由老師推薦，最後由評委會評定。每組
得獎名額三位,請家長們鼓勵貴子弟報名參加，詳情與班級老師聯絡。
2019 VIRGINIA HOM FUNG MEMORIAL/YOUTH CHINESE LANGUAGE SCHOLARSHIP:
The House of China (HOC) has scholarship opportunity each year for SD County youths,
18 years of age or younger, currently enrolled in Chinese Schools in SD. There are
Three groups: beginning, intermediate and advanced, based on recommendations
by teachers. Essays shall be submitted in hand-written Chinese. Please contact your
teacher for more detail.

年刊編輯即將開始，我們急需編輯人才，請有興趣的家長或學生速 與

如果您會使用Photoshop的話更能錦上添花。我們非常鼓勵7到12年級的
學生加入年刊編輯的行列，學校將會給予社區服務時數的證明文件。

PowerPoint (Photoshop skills are highly appreciated but not required) to be our
Yearbook Editors. For Middle/High School Students, SDCA will recognize your

who are considering to enroll students for credit class. Principal Sun will answer

On week 28 (04/28/2019), the Board Members Election for school year
2019-2020 will take place and need your participation. Please come and vote.
預註冊是 4/07， 4/28， 5/05. 凡預註冊期間及05/31 以前網上註冊都可以免 $50註冊費。
The Pre-Registration will be 04/07, 04/28 and 05/05. The $50 registration fee will be
waived if you register before 05/31/2019.

功課輔導的課程開始接受報名，每周日4:40pm to 5:20pm,在 US101 教室，請有興
趣的家長到辦公室報名。收費以打卡方式，每五次 $25
The homework assistance program will start soon. Please come to the office to register and
pay the fee. The fee is $25 for 5 times. The tutoring time is 4:40pm -5:20pm each Sunday
Afternoon during the school year. The room is in US101.
當學校老師是支持子女學中文最好的方式, 家長也是最好的老師來源，假如您有興趣
教中文或認識有興趣的人，請和辦公室聯絡。
We are always in need of teachers. If you have a passion for teaching or know someone who is
interested in teaching, please contact us. Don’t worry if you don’t have experience, training is
available.

請勿使用或玩電梯。電梯僅供老師使用。Do not play with or use the elevator. The elevator is
for teacher use only.
學前班教室裡面的兒童遊戲場，只有學前班的小朋友才可以使用，其他學生不得進入。
The playground located in front of the kindergarten/preschool classes is designed for
kindergarten/preschool students only. Other students are forbidden to use that facility.
