謝師宴 Teacher Appreciation Dinner
今年謝師宴將於 05/19/2018（星期六）下午6:00 在 Seaside Buffet 餐館舉行，
歡迎大家來參加感謝老師們一年來的辛苦
Teacher Appreciation Dinner will be on Saturday, May 19, 2018, 6:00 PM at
Seaside Buffet Restaurant.
Come join the teachers at the dinner to show your support.
You can still purchase tickets at the door before 6:00 pm if you can make it.

校內頒獎、結業典禮
Award Ceremony, Closing/Graduation Ceremony, Report Card/Yearbook Distribution
1. 05/20/2018是本學年最後一週，有畢業/結業典禮及學生表演。因為當天的行程很緊湊，
請家長準時帶孩子們在1:30來學校。當日的行程如下:
This Sunday 05/20 is the last day of school, we will have Graduation/Closing ceremony with
Student performance. Teachers will also be handing out various awards certificates, report cards,
summer homework packets, yearbook, etc. We have a lot to do that day, please make sure your
student comes to school on time at 1:30 PM.: Tentative itinerary for the day is as follows:
1:30 PM - 請家長直接帶孩子們到教室。
School starts, please take your child to his/her classroom
1:30 PM - 各班頒獎：老師發學生成績單，獎狀，獎牌，暑假作業及年刊。
Teachers will distribute report card, yearbook (1 per family), summer homework,
class awards, as well as speech contest and poetry recitation contest trophies.
2:15 PM - 請各班老師帶學生到室内劇場（Four Flowers Theatre）就位，
典禮才能準時開始。請老師提醒申請就讀6, 9年及各班第一名的學生
記得典禮時上台領獎。
Award Presentation Preparation at Four Flowers Theatre. Each class should be
seated at the assigned seating area at Four Flowers Theatre so we may start the
ceremony promptly.
2:30 PM - 畢業典禮開始。
Ceremony starts
4:30 PM - 典禮結束。
Ceremony ends
2. 網上註冊: 05/20結業典禮之後, 辦公室將關閉放暑假。所有註冊請以郵寄的方式
寄給我們。我們的郵政信箱是SDCA -- Registration, P.O. Box 910093, San Diego,
CA 92191-0093。 如果我們在5/31收到您的註冊表與付款，以郵戳為憑，您還是可以

Online Registration: After 05/20/2018, the SDCA office will be closed for the summer. Please
submit your registration by mail. Our mailing address is SDCA -- Registration, P.O. Box 910093,
San Diego, CA 92191-0093. If we receive your registration postmark by 05/31/2018 you are

優待,所以假如您有興趣教書或認識合適的教師人選，請趕快跟校長聯絡。
Pre-registration for the 2018-2019 school year will start this week! There is an additional 10% off
for board members’ and teachers’ student tuition. If you are interested in becoming a teacher or
know someone who would be a great teacher, please get in touch with the office administration
team as soon as possible.

新學年的學費調整 Tuition for the new school year has been changed：
1. 普通班/雙語班學費(含教材) 調漲 $50; 預註冊每位學生 $680
Tuition for the Regular/Bilingual classes has increased by $50 (including textbooks); Pre-registration
for every Regular/Bilingual class student is $680.
2. 學分班學費 (不包括教材) 調漲 $20; 預註冊每位學生 $850
Tuition for the Credit classes has increased by $20 (textbooks are not included); Pre-registration for every
Credit class student is $850

Every year around second term, San Diego Chinese Academy would solicit parent’s opinion and
recommendation for the school through Parent Survey. This year we will conduct this survey earlier
in the school year, so we can give positive feedback to our hard working teachers. It is important
for us to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts our teachers have been contributing to the school
and for the children. We look forward to hear from you of any compliment or constructive suggestion.
