Week 25 第二十五週

1. New Principle for Next School Year
Ms. Showlin Law has been elected to be the new principle next school year. We would like to congradulate Ms. Law and thank Principle Mei Miaw Cheng for directing SDCA to successful years during her term.

下學年度新校長已經選出, 由羅秀琳老師擔任新校長. 我們要恭喜羅秀琳老師, 並且感謝鄭美妙校長這幾年來帶領我們為學校的努力.

2. Volunteer Appreciation Party
Please bring a dish to share at the Volunteer Appreciation Pot Luck party on 4/10/11. Please email Bing Han with what you are planning to bring by 4/4/2011. The party will be held outside parent's lounge. We look forward to a fun gathering with you.

4/10/2011 將舉行義工表揚大會, 歡迎大家各帶一道菜來聚餐. 請讓家長會長韓冰在 4/4/2011 前知道您們可以準備的菜餚. 聚餐將在家長休息室外面舉行, 期盼跟大家有一個歡樂的聯誼活動.

Week 24 第二十四週

1. Scrips Sale This Sunday
Thanks to our scrip director Julie Hodges, there will be an unscheduled scrips sale this Sunday in the parents' lounge for your convenience.

謝謝禮券理事 Julie, 特別在這個禮拜天提供額外禮券購買的服務. 請到家長休息室多多選購或是領取退費.

2. Welcome New Board Members
Thanks for all the parents that voted last week. We will have four new board members for next school year. They are Carol Chrisopoulos, Susana He, Meilan Hsieh, and Lei Kang. They will join the three returning board members Grace Cheng, Bing Han, and Julie Hodges to ensure continued success for our school.

3. Legoland Certificate Give Away
We are giving away some "School and Community Sponsorships Free Admission Certificate" from Legoland. Each of the certificates allows the holder to purchase (2) one-day full-price admissions for the price of one. This is a saving of $55 to $65 since regular one-day admission is $65 for adult and $55 for child. These certificates expire at the end of this month, quantity is limited, first come first serve.

我們將發送出樂高遊樂場入場優待券.持有優待券將可以享有買兩張全票只要付一張票的價錢. 成人票一張是＄65, 兒童票每張是＄55, 所以優待券可以幫您節省＄55~＄65. 優待到這個月底. 數量有限. 請儘快到家長休息室領取.

Week 23 第二十三週

1. PTA Meeting & Board election this Sunday
PTA meeting and Board Election will take place this coming Sunday, we would like to invite all parents to please take the time to come attend the meeting and vote at the multi-purpose room at 2:00pm. We're asking room parents to call all the parents in your class to make sure that all parents receive this invitation. Thank you.

Week 22 第二十二週

1. Daylight Savings Time
Reminder to all parents to move your clocks ahead one hour as daylight savings time begins this Sunday.

Board Election will be held on 3/20/11 at school, please make sure you come and vote. If you are unable to come that day please mail in your which will be mailed to you this week. Thank you for your support.

We are in the process of organizing our school database so that it can be accessed and categorized more efficiently. We are in need of assistance in the database application. If you are well trained in database application and can help our school, please contact board president, Michelle Mitchell, as soon as possible. We need any help we can get. We have 5 vacancies in the Board of Directors in the upcoming year. We are seeking parents to join the board and help our school.
